Highlights

  • Temporary anchorage devices: used in certain orthodontic cases to help achieve tooth movements that in some cases would be otherwise impossible.
  • Lingual: Traditional braces can create a noticeable change in your appearance, but the Lingual braces are placed on the back surface of your teeth, facing the tongue. This gives you all the benefits of braces but also a very discreet treatment.
  • Invisalign: Rather than using metal brackets and wires like traditional braces, the Invisalign system uses a series of custom-made, computer-generated plastic aligners to straighten your smile. Each set of aligners is designed to make small changes to the alignment of the teeth.
  • Self ligating brackets: Using an innovative spring clip to straighten teeth, these braces apply a gentle, continuous force to align teeth into the proper positions. These braces don’t require any elastic ties to hold the wire, resulting in more comfort, less frequent and shorter appointments. They are also smaller than traditional metal brackets, making them easier to clean and less noticeable.
  • Surgical Orthodontics: While orthodontics repositions teeth, surgical orthodontics (also known as orthognathic surgery) corrects jaw irregularities to improve your ability to chew, speak, and breathe, as well as provide an improved facial appearance. This helps make sure teeth are in their proper positions after surgery.
  • Dentofacial Orthopedics: Certain appliances like Headgear and Functional appliances are used to redirect the growth in children, thereby correcting the skeletal malocclusions and improving their profile.
