Applications are invited for a two-year Diploma in Dental Mechanics program from candidates who have passed out with 10+2 qualification (intermediate/similar boards) under Bi.P.C stream. UNIVERSITY OF BOLTON

Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES) is an academic conglomerate in India with their footprint into multiple disciplines that include Engineering, Pharmacy, Polytechnic, Management and Dental Sciences. Pioneered by a renowned industrialist and philanthropist Late Padma Bhushan Dr B V Raju, the Society established 12 Educational Institutions spread across 2 States of India. Passionately committed to deliver world class education, the partnership with SVES is initiated to foster the synergies to allow young learners from both sides explore global scenarios with Vishnu Dental College and Hospital, one of the institutions under SVES playing instrumental role.

Vishnu Dental College and Hospital (VDC&H) has a total built up area of 1,85,000 SFT with state-of-the-art facilities, 6 Comprehensive Clinics for undergraduate training and 8 Speciality Clinics for postgraduate training. The college is furnished with advanced equipment and stringent infection control protocols for training both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Community Outreach is an integral part of Vishnu Dental College and Hospital through which Secondary and Primary Care initiatives are incubated and implemented. They currently operate 23 Rural Satellite Dental Clinics in India and organizes regular outreach programs tailor built for various social target groups with a grand Vision “Oral Healthcare for All”. The Incubation centre at VDC&H intends to build an ecosystem where students are nurtured in innovation and problem-solving skills.

 The long-term partnership with VEC is built towards

  • building active collaboration and knowledge transfer in manufacturing dental prosthesis/ materials
  • providing training in clinical dentistry
  • developing undergraduate programs
  • building short-term training programs

The partnership essentially prioritizes our students expand their horizons while getting a provision for clinical training at Vishnu Dental College and Hospital facility.

Under the partnership, B.Sc.,(Hons.) Dental Technology is launched in September 2019. The course includes 2 years off-campus/ on-site training at the VDC&H facility and follows one-year study in University of Bolton.
