Request and sending the biopsy

You may download, complete and submitthe biopsy form to our address. Please package biopsies in 10% neutral buffered formalin sealed in leak-free containers and include your patient’s details.

Radiographs (IOPA, OPG, CBCT, etc.) and clinical images often are useful or necessary in rendering a diagnosis.  Please send a copy or original radiographic images of diagnostic quality with biopsies.

Tissue diagnostic and reporting service:

Microscopic Consultation (Second Opinion)

We are glad to review any challenging histopathology cases. We recognise that the interpretation of oral biopsy samples by general pathologists maybe sometimes perplexing and necessitatean understanding of clinical data that is specific to the oral cavity. If the clinical impression is inconsistent with a histopathologic diagnosis rendered at a local hospital, or if you require support in the evaluation of your specimen, it would be appropriate to request our review of the slides. You may send the diagnostic material (glass slides and or tissue block) to our department.

To request a consultation:

Please download, complete and include required glass slides and or tissue blocks, radiographic images, clinical photographs, and outside pathology reports.
