The “oral hygiene day”-2021 was conducted successfully both at our institution level and institutions across the country.
This year due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation across the country, Department of Periodontics, Vishnu Dental College came up with a unique initiative of celebrating Oral hygiene day through social media.
A page namely “Vishnu_perio unleashed” was created on Instagram. Through Instagram, various competitions were open for dental students all over the country who are not only pursuing Periodontics but also various other specialities of dentistry thereby sensitizing a huge number.
This platform is the first of its kind in our country as far as Periodontics is concerned.
